Raw Edges Plaid Tables and Benches

Designers Shay Alkalay and Yael Mer of Raw-Edges Design Studio create innovative tables and benches that interlock with each other to create a colourful plaid check pattern. Their first plaid bench installation organized by The Lollipop Shoppe at the Old Spitalfield’s Market for the London Design Festival 2010 featured three types of table. Their latest plaid tables and benches are a collaboration with Italian maker Dilmos. Stunning.

Bob from Snurk

Snurk's latest bedding designs bring a whole new meaning to the term dog bed. Featuring a very cute life size dog named Bob printed on crisp white bedding. I was amused, but not surprised to read that during the shoot, Bob had no desire to sleep. Fortunately the lights were hot and the patience of the photographer was eventually rewarded!

Drew Pritchard

My latest addiction is Salvage. This past month TV is suddenly awash with Salvage programmes - from Seeking Salvage, American Pickers to my current favourite Salvage Hunters. Salvage Hunters documents Drew Pritchard - a UK based company selling fabulously British Salvage. I cannot tell you how excited I was to discover Drew's website packed full of gorgeousness with take your breath away, one of a kind pieces. It's great watching the guys in action on TV, however by the time the programme is aired the stock is already sold! I'll need a lottery win to get my hands on some of these lovely pieces, which are incidently still available to purchase! One to bookmark for sure.

Wagging Tail Dog Clock

This fabulous wagging tail dog clock amused me, as anyone who has a dog knows that you could set your watch to the accuracy of a dogs body clock -  our dogs are like clockwork 7am walk, weed and feed, 12pm ditto and 5pm ditto.

Handpicked Collection's dog clock uses it's tail as a pendulum appreciatively wagging and ticking the minutes away. Available in Labrador, Spaniel and Dachshund priced £44.95. I want one!
