I really like the typography, illustration and identity work of the exceptionally talented Scottish illustrator and designer Steven Bonner. Steven has a really smart, clean and easy to navigate web site which makes browsing his portfoliio an absolute pleasure. It is refreshing to find someone so talented at both design and illustration in equal measure.

Stormfront by Jim Houser

The Balcony Gardener
I'm a sucker when it comes to nice packaging so The Balcony Gardener's simplistic single colour patterned seed packaging really hits the spot for me. I've never thought of giving a gift of seeds before but these would be lovely presented as a full set, held together with rustic garden twine.

Brogue Furniture by Alexena Cayless
Using shoe leather, Harris tweed and traditional leather techniques, Designer Alexena Cayless has created the beautiful Cheaney Chair and co-ordinating Brogue Footstool. The chair is part of the 'Fly to Tip' collection and was originally found on the street before being reupholstered and handcrafted by Northamptonshire's Cheaney Shoes.
