Lace Fence

I've seen these images around for years but never knew the makers of Lace Fence. Dutch design house Demakersvan created Lace Fence - a metal fabric that combines lace making with chainlink. I like their philosophy  "Lace Fence shows how something which was meant purely functional can also be decorative. Hostility versus kindness, industry versus craft." It's a shame that I have only ever seen this fencing in design books and not in any UK public spaces.
