T.Shelf

As an origami obsessive I am crazy about the T.Shelf by J1 Studio. Made from Birch Plywood and held together with zipties and steel cables - sculpturally it looks amazing with or without objects placed on it. It reminds me of the Rubik's snake - anyone remember them? I really would love this in my home!

Liverpools luxury goods maker Stuart Hughes has blinged up the Apple Macbook Air with his £139,995 solid platinum Supreme Ice Edition weighing 2,500 grams. The apple logo is encrusted with 53 flawless 25.5ct diamonds. Limited in edition to just 10 units.

The impossible Project

The name of Polaroid's Impossible Project aptly reminds me of a friends wedding. I once spent an entire day photographing wedding guests with a Polaroid camera and asking them to write messages next to their photographs as I stuck them in an album. This was my wedding gift to our friends - using 20 packs of film and 15 hours later the polaroid album was complete ready for the Bride and Groom. Sounds like a good idea in theory, but at the time It was very nearly an impossible project. Never again! For anyone thinking of replicating this idea you'll be pleased to know that the Polaroid has been re-designed by Paul Giambarba and is now available online from the Impossible Project.
