Snurk Beddengoed Homeless Bedding

I have no desire to pretend that I am laying on a pavement with cardboard boxes covering me, however a language translation reveals that this project of digitally printed bedding by Snurk Beddengoed actually benefits a homeless foundation in the Netherlands.

Dominic Wilcox; By A Thread

Cotton thread is wound around a walking stick to give the stick a second skin. Often an overlooked object by designers, Dominic Wilcox has transformed the walking stick in his By a Thread project. I think they look very Paul Smith don't you? Lol, like Paul Smith owns stripes or something!!!

Oiva Toikka Glass

For 35 years Finnish glass designer Oiva Toikka has created these beautiful birds. Each unique piece is individually mouth blown by craftsmen at the Nuutajärvi factory in Finland. There are some wonderful images of the glass birds being created at iittala.
