The photography in this book by Eloise Leyden is stunning. This book (still) remains at the top of my wish list. ‘Slum Dogs of India’ or ‘Slum Dogs – Vies de chiens en Inde’ was released in September 2009 and features over 150 of the most amazing dog images. UK based photographer Eloise also sells prints from the book online. Her website is a must for animal lovers. This first image my absolute favourite - i'd love this as a print. Beautiful.
La Tonkinoise à Paris bring a second life to rings, bracelets, watches and necklaces hunted down from second hand markets in Paris. I am totally knocked out by the beauty of these pieces hence why I have found it hard to edit my selection. Hope you enjoy them too, because there are lot of them!
In 1989 when Parable owner Nigel Parker came across 1,200 American wallpaper printing rollers, he knew he'd stumbled across an archive of patterns that he needed to preserve. Purchasing a further 600 British rollers Nigel has developed mouldings and castings of his collection and now produces the most amazing candles. I love to see hand made craftsman ship of this quality.
